I dont really know this site, but I know that its popular.
I dont think im supposed to be on here since im only 13, but I needed someone to answer my question.

My period started when I was 10, so I've dealt with it for a while. I was put on a mini pill, cerelle for about 7 months now.
But,, my longest period had been 8 days. My pill has always been bad for me, periods happening every 2 weeks and being very unpredictable. But now, its gone over the line really. Ive been on my period for 15 days. I'm heavy and its painful, I dont know what to do and I dont know why its happening. Someone help?

Do you have a mum, aunty, sister you can talk to? They can take you to a doctor.

You don't sound 13 by the way. Smile

It sounds like you need to see a GP, and they can talk about what can be done to help you. It's not usual for periods to be so long and so heavy.

Can you talk to your mum, or another adult that you trust about this? They can help with pain relief and getting seen by a GP.

I toon that pill, I used to bleed 2 weeks out of 4, it was awful. I finally went to see gp and they switched me to a new pill and hey presto, back to normal! So go see someone they will check you out and it may be as simple as a different brand of pill!

Thank you all for answering! I got a doctors appointment on christmas eve. It's a while, but hopefully, I'll be able to get pain relief or a different pill.

I had exactly the same problem on Cerelle. Can you tell your mum or a female relative? Perhaps write a note or text them if you don't feel comfortable talking to them. They could help you to push for an earlier appointment.
