To worry about mole's colour change?

I have a mole on my face that has changed from brown in colour to almost the same colour has my skin tone. Ive looked on the internet but it only says things about size change not colour change. I've got a app with the dr after Christmas but in the mean time has anyone ever had anything like this with their moles?

Have a look at my AIBU about Prostate Screening for my DH's mole story. I'm glad you are having it checked but to reassure you this happened exactly to a once dark ,minimally hairy, mole on my cheek. When I showed it to a doctor because of the change, she couldn't see it but could feel it which surprised her. 15 years on it hasn't changed again.

Yes, I have one like that. My GP was the surgery specialist in screening skin complaints and said it was a normal progression for moles to lose their colour with no risk of cancer.

Have a lovely Christmas and don't worry about it. But of course do get it checked out.

You’re doing the right thing getting it checked but it’s almist certainly nothing to worry about.
