Nb: huge health anxiety.

This is on my thigh, it's about 3mm in diameter, raised, blackened and hard

Not necessarily. Looks very easy to remove if it is dodgy. I had a long wait appointment (think months and months) for similar - so obvs was not that urgent but it was removed. I have is a small scar now.

Hi op ,if in doubt get checked out .
I'm on my mobile so can't see it properly but it looks similar to some pore of winer that I've seen .
Have a google op ,see what they look like

MiaFarrowsWheelbarrow · 14/12/2018 19:46

Are you sure it's not an ingrowing hair?

E20mom · 14/12/2018 19:52

It just looks like an ingrown hair.

SandunesAndRainclouds · 14/12/2018 19:53

I would’ve squeezed the life out of that by now...

WipsGlitter · 14/12/2018 21:14

It looks like a massive blackhead.

Aquamarine1029 · 15/12/2018 02:56

It's a large blackhead probably caused by an ingrown hair. You really need to relax and calm down. You can take care of this yourself.

Looks like the seborric keratoses I get regularly (completely harmless). They grow suddenly, in recurring places, dry out & then flake off (can be itchy). I have a new one on my back recently. Look around, you see them a lot on women age 40+.

I've squeezed - nothing came out at all, it just hurt.
