I took my dd for routine eye test last week and they discovered that she has three patches of cataracts. You cannot see them with the naked eye just specialist machine, we have appointment with a eye specialist arranged, but does anyone have any experience of this. She is 9.

@assumpta I know this is an old thread but what was the outcome of this. My DS is 5 and the optician said he has bilateral cataracts and we have been referred. I'm terrified.
