Strange sensation

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had experienced this? I've tried googling it but nothing came up. I have a 'fizzing', 'bubbling' sensation in-between the middle and lower section of my back next to my spine. Some extra info is that I have type 1 diabetes but I don't think this is connected.

I will be seeing my GP but I'd like to go in with some information because they will inevitably tell me they don't know. Thanks.

Is it when you breathe? It could be your chest/lungs, as you can have symptoms in your back. Maybe your GP needs to have a listen?

Hi, no that’s why I haven’t gone to the GP yet as there is no pain at all. Just this odd sensation that I have never had but it is becoming more frequent.

If it is on the left hand side, could it be stomach acid? Is it only at certain times - like standing up, sitting down or lying down or all the time?

It feels like stomach acid but would I feel it in my back?

I think it’s mainly when I sit down.

The gastrointestinal Tract can have a number of sensations for many reasons.

Does this get worse after eating, before using the bathroom etc? Do you know what triggers it?

Do a little test with yourself and try to keep and eye out so you can be informed if you seek medical help

So just to add I have noticed it happening when I wake up in the morning and after Ive eaten. I had a blood test done for my diabetes and my kidneys were showing as abnormal but a repeat test a few days later showed as normal however I am going to have a kidney scan just to make sure but I’m almost positive it will be kidney related. I did forget to say that I was getting twinges in my back previously but they stopped and have been replaced by this fizzing sensation.
