Eating late at night

For the past maybe 2 years if I eat late at night I feel sick all night long and maybe get around 2 hours sleep.
I had dinner at 9pm last night and all night long I had an upset stomach, heart banging out of my chest and sickness.
It particularly happens in hotels too, after eating around 7pm and not walking my dinner off or staying upright after.
Any idea what I can take to help this as it’s ruining all of my Xmas nights out!

Googled and some say indigestion tablets may help?
Does it sound like indigestion? Never had it before.

Oh god. I am pretty much approaching middle age too! Still feel sick today. Like hungover and tired. I only ate a chicken parcel and dauphinois potatoes too. Boo.

Could it be what you're eating as well as (or rather than) when you're eating? You say 'only a chicken parcel and potatoes dauphinoise', but dauphinoise is very, very rich.

I love some late night snacks🤭

Is it what you’re eating? Have you noticed that sometimes you’re maybe ok?
