dd1 19 months really suffering, swollen cheeks and very sore mouth. Won't take calpol or ibuprofen, but will keep trying. Have put calamine on hands and feet, and tried bonjela teething gel in her mouth, but can't get anywhere near it!
Any tips would be fab!

give her a bowl of ice cream with a spoon. Let her eat it herself, in her own time. Don't try and put anything in her mouth. Let her do it all herself.

Put bonjela onto a spoon or something to suck on.

Also ice lollies.

It's unpleasant, but doesn't last that long.

Thanks belgo, that was genius, hadn't even thought of ice cream. She's much better now. It's been awful. Thanks again x
