Lipoma

I discovered today that I have a lipoma near my right shoulder and it needs to be removed. Has anyone had a lipoma removed and did it necessitate a stay in hospital? I imagine that I have just asked a "piece of string" question and it will depend on the size of the lipoma to be taken away!

I had a small one on my arm which my gp removed, it was under a mole so was better taking it out.

I had a largish one on my back that was removed under a GA. it was day surgery, no overnight stay in hospital.
