Hello!

I have never really had much trouble with periods - always been fairly light and easy!

HOWEVER - now I am turning 40 - they are thick and last a week - also lossing 'blobs' of dark jelly blobby blood about 5p in size - just a few but yuck! It looks like the periods after child birth - but without the childbirth!!!

Is this right? Thanks for reading xx

Well, well (red, red).

My periods have usually been lightish and easy but I've had dark blobs (bits of liver) intermittently since I started my periods.

I'm 42 next week and mine, if anything, are getting lighter, so I don't know what any of it means.

Let's just be grateful they're still regular, for the time being
