Dry January

What benefits do you actually feel if you give up alcohol in January (or any other period)?

I am going dry after Christmas, possibly for three months. When I have stopped drinking for a period of time I don't actually notice any difference in weight, skin, anything.

I drink at least 4 nights a week, couple of glasses of wine or a couple G & Ts. I am not doing it to reduce intake, just fancy stopping for a bit, bit fed up with it.

To be honest you might actually feel worse without your usual tipple I had to stop because my drinking was getting out of hand. I wish I could tell you I feel great but that's not the case. Still I will give my system a good detox. If you only drink a (small) glass of wine a day apparently you are healthier than a teetotaller...😳

I'm t-total but think how much healthier your liver will be for one.
