After having my baby my iron level was low, I was taking iron tablets for a month, then I went for a blood test and again iron level was low. Then they made another test and again they prescribed me iron tablets for 2 months. So one week ago I made third blood test and today I called GP to ask for results and she told that I need to book another test. I'm living near GP so I went there and she printed me the results and there was written SURPRISE BLOOD RESULTS-please repeat. The iron level was normal, tyyroid function was normal as well but where was full blood count ( hemoglobin level) was that written. The receptionist didn't know what that means and she booked me another test. Does anyone knows or had same blood results? I'm afraid what that means.
