Lump in neck

grincheux · 28/11/2018 09:06

I woke up this morning with a Malteser-sized lump in the side of my neck. It feels like a knot but it's actually visible. The lump itself is sore to touch but my neck isn't stiff. I'm also tired all the bloody time but I'd put that down to a few late nights and early starts with work. I've made a same-day doctors appointment for later but I'm really worried... Has anyone experienced something similar?

I get that when I'm coming down with something or really run down. My doctor checked mine and said they were fine. Does it move about? How did your docs app go?

Thank you for your replies! I saw my chiropractor in the afternoon to rule out muscle knots then saw the GP, who thinks it's a swollen lymph node. I'm having some blood tests tomorrow but the GP said to leave it alone for a couple of weeks and see how it is then.

weescottish · 29/11/2018 13:18

Is it on his gum? Is it sore etc? Maybe asking a dentist to check would be the best bet?

This was the first sign of my lymphoma too. Really tired, night sweats and itchy legs at night! Hope all comes back okay for you!
