Has anyone got experience of management of ticks? My GP doesn't seem to have a clue.
Background, I'm 30 and I've been doing this for about 11 years. It first started as over exaggerated yawning which turned into air gulping/swallowing and more recently nose twitching as I subconsciously try to take more air in. The more anxious I am (highly anxious in general) the more I do it.
I've had cbt for the actual anxiety but nothing specific for the management of the ticks other than to be told it's behavioural and err, just stop
