My DD is 20. When she was 9 she was diagnosed with epilepsy. Both myself and her older sister are also epileptic. We all have temporal lobe epilepsy.
When she was 14 she was taken off her meds as she had been seizure free for 2 years. Fast forward, the seizures have started again. She has full tonic colonic seizures ( if that's what they are still called) she's been off work now for 2 weeks. No referral back to a neurologist as yet. Is this a normal thing to happen? Can it happen? She's had some stresses recently. Left her bf due to dv and has court in January as he pleaded not guilty Angry
Guide lines stated that she should of had a referral by now. But it's not a first seizure referral.
Words of wisdom please
