Has anybody had this done? I've been bleeding for months and although there's nothing 'wrong' with my uterus they can't solve the problem without removing my womb lining.
I can't have novasure as my womb is enlarged and my lining is thick. My op is scheduled in less than 2 weeks, I've never had GA before and I'm nervous.
I had a superficial blood clot last year so I'm concerned about that, and worried that I won't be home for DDS birthday the next day.
I'm off work this week as between the hormones I take to reduce the bleeding and the situation I've been feeling very down, not sleeping and I got to a point where I couldn't control my emotions and felt that my family would be better off without me.
I'm feeling much more rested now, and glad my op is soon as an end to the constant period.
Has anyone else had this done? Did it work? Ideally I would have avoided it to keep options open for the future but I can't live like this as it affects the DDs I have.
