Do I have a bug?

Came home from work yesterday and had to rush to the toilet to 💩 which was the type which you have when you're going through D&V. This happened again later in the evening but not since in the night. Would I be ok to go to work today? I work in an office although it's full of people who work with vulnerable ill adults.

Only you can answer that! Tell them you're going to see if you're okay and go in an hour late if you are? watch what you eat today.

It's the kind of place where they will just say oh you have to be off for 48 hrs which is a bit frustrating since I might be ok?!

I think the guidance is 24 hours for D and 48 hours for V, check online for the guidance it might be the other way around. It would not be fair to potentially infect vulnerable ill adults would it...

Take tomorrow off- it's not worth infecting vulnerable people with a D&V bug.

It might not have caused you to vomit/made you very unwell but it might do for other people.

It's 48 hours for either diarrhoea or vomiting as norovirus can cause isolated diarrhoea but the stool can contain millions of viral particles and it only takes 10 viral particles to make someone else sick!
