Just looking to hear from anyone with the condition? I was diagnosed a couple of days ago following sigmoidoscopy. Consultant said it was moderate and left sided UC. I've been started on a course of steroids which seem to be helping but think I'm having some side effects (feeling hot, dizzy, generally unwell). I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with the diagnosis and already suffer from anxiety so this is making it worse. I can't shake off negative thoughts about the future and just wondered if anyone has any positive stories of living with the condition?
