Mysterious black eye

Eye felt irritated like it does with allergies, could feel it swelling and looked bloodshot. Half an hour later it’s not bloodshot anymore but I’ve a bruise on eyelid.

Has anyone had this before? I’m now getting a pressure headache around sinuses which could be completely unrelated as I’m an achey person generally.

I bet that's a spontaneously burst blood vessel. I get them sometimes on my hands and feet. They swell up and feel hot and itchy and get really painful while the blood is coming out because it can't go anywhere. Then they calm down and leave a big purple bruise.
They don't seem to be anything to worry about, and there's no rhyme or reason to when it happens as far as I can tell.

Oh how strange never had that before! Might just have to wear purple eyeshadow

Pharmacist was baffled and just told me to take antihistamines 🤷🏻‍♀️, eventually faded away
