So my teeth are usually great. However I started having tooth ache in a molar and it was very sensitive to any temperature. I also noticed a hard lump about an inch away from the molar. It was tender, but not painful.
Off I popped to the dentist. He immediately said abcess and I need either root canal (£200!!!) Or tooth out. He didn't really examine the lump. So antibiotics and back in two weeks for extraction.
Finished antibiotics and notice the lump is bigger and still there. I also notice I have one on the OPPOSITE side, though smaller. Also a bit tender. Located right where the cheek meets the gum at the bottom. What on earth ARE these??? They're hard. I do suffer with sarcoidosis which causes swollen glands, but as far as I know there are none there. I obviously don't want a tooth out if it's not what he thinks it is. Any insight??
