anyone know about hayfever in babies?

wasn't sure about posting here or an allergies thred but plumped for here DS2 is now 14 weeks old ans has been 'snuffly' for weeks. No sign of infection, very mucousy but it's clear, sneezing a lot, it does seem to be distyrbing his feeding. I didn't thin babies could get hayfever (not sure why I thought that) but it does coinside with DS1 and DD being 'hayfevery" is there anything I can do to help him, he does seem to be getting mightly fed up and tired due to interupted sleep.

Have you tried the homeopathic hayfever remedies? Can't do any harm. Do your others use them?

Just started DD on the boots homepathic mix, the tablets are huge and don't seem to 'melt' down in water so I can spoon feed him, if I was to give him individual remedies are there any that you would recommend?

when I say huge, I mean for DS2, they aren't really huge

Our GP told me it is very unusual for babies to get hayfever in their first summer as they are not sensitised yet.

ds2 also seems very snuffly, especially at night so i wonder if he has hay fever too.

a fan on at night helps (this a tip from dh who has terrible hayfever).

I don't believe in homeopathic remedies myself, but surely the idea is that the solutions are really really really dilute, so it doesn't matter if they don't dissolve very well though?

SP the disolving was more as I am a bit worried he would choke on them, they are much bigger than a normal pistulle, think I might just get the three remedies that make up the one that DD takes and try him with them all [hmm} Wil Deff try the fan trick
