Hi... since I've had my 2nd son via c-section in October 2017 I've had issues with my bowels. I'll do a 💩 then about 30 mins later I get itchy and when I wipe there's poo like I haven't wiped properly (even tho I have) and sometimes fresh red blood. Sometimes poo doesn't feel like it's coming out properly. I've had blood tests and poo test all clear so I've been on Senna and laxido sachets for a while. But I am a paranoid android and was discussing with the Dr and she said she doesn't think I'll settle till I have a colonoscopy. I really don't want one 🙄 she said she will refer me but not urgent. Does anyone else have these issues....

Have they checked for internal piles?

Bex1517 · 08/11/2018 16:06

I had this following my c section as well. I wondered if I'd done damage at the end of pregnancy when I was constipated. It is very slowly getting better and doesn't happen all the time now.

Try a stool softener, a piles suppository and then anusol applied on the outside. It may well help. All your symptoms suggest piles to me and I'm very surprised a doctor hasn't considered that! Ask them to check, you may need them removed if they do find them.
