Low grade stomach bug?

Hello,
For the past four or five days I've been suffering with acidic discomfort and a vacuous sensation below my sternum in my stomach. Slight nausea and just feeling "out of sorts ". Constantly burping too!
No D&V, thankfully but appetite off.
I'm wondering if this is a mild dose of the latest sickness bug.
Can anyone relate?

My ds has had this, along with a vomit or two a day for 3 weeks now. GP says his blood tests show there is some sort of infection going on, but nothing major or that they can put their finger on. Gaviscon and ranitidine haven't helped

I've just had this only to be followed by cold and cough. I believe the hollow feeling in the stomach is catarrh or post nasal drip. I had it before but always with cold symptoms so this time I was starting to think gastritis or similar.
