Yeah, it's as lovely as it sounds...

I have hydrocortisone for it, but it is not helping at all. I also take methotrexate for psoriatic arthritis already.
So I have a drs appt booked for later this week. Can anyone give me any tips for things that may help while I'm waiting?

Thanks

I did wonder if it was triggered by threadworm (with two children that wouldn't be a surprise), but I've treated just in case and it hasn't made a difference.

Is it itchy sore ? I have eczema there and it itches like fuck and sometimes do scratch in the night.

Hydrocortisone id taking it's time as well, so when it starts to itch I do get some relief from as hot a shower head directed on the area.

Sometimes I get little cuts in the skin which hurt like mad and I have had some relief from Germoloids cream which has Lidocaine in it

I can't think of anything non prescription Sad

Sprilon spray is a thin film which protects cuts etc but no idea if it will help with the itching.

Think you will need a dermatologist anyway (sorry little faith in GP).

Yep it's itchy and varies between sore and bloody painful - where it's as far as a crease, it splits open and bleeds :(

I would you speak to a pharmacist see what they think, I wonder if a thick emollient would best for now Thanks
