Rash on face

My dd has a rash mostly on one side of her face, forehead and neck. Its slightly raised red dots and doesn't seem to distress her, although it looks sore in places. I dabbed baby lotion on it and now there are a few bits of flaky skin. Has anyone else ever experienced this? She is seven weeks old.

Could be baby acne or excema, aveeno cream or zero derm (from Gp) is great. Gp can prescribe aveeno too or you can get from boots. Perhaps get her checked by Gp just in case though.

Baby lotion isn't great to use on any babies imho. I would speak to the doctor, or at least the pharmacist, and get something more suitable.
