Sore throat on swallowing

36 weeks pregnant, have had blocked sinus for about 4 weeks. Nothing major. Seen GP 4 weeks ago (due to something else) and mentioned them. Just said saline nose spray etc which I was happy with. Back to GP last week as I caught a cold which moved to my chest and was quite sore. Throat checked it was all fine. Amoxicillin given due to sinus still being there and cough being raspy.
Finished course and cough pretty much cleared, sinus pretty much normal (bar the constant bleeding on blowing nose, which can be normal for me in winter) but OMG the pain in left side of my throat on swallowing saliva. Left ear also has mild throbbing. I'm still able to eat and drink fine. Been gargling salt water and paracetamol (which doesn't seem to help). I'm thinking viral thing going on ... but would anyone think I should see GP again just to get throat and ear checked? I just don't want baby to arrive and pass something onto them if possible
