Does anyone have any experience of Galantamine (for dementia)?

My dad has recently been diagnosed with frontal & temporal lobe dementia and has been prescribed a drug called Galantamine. Has anyone had any direct experience of the side effects, and more importantly, does it make a difference?

Hi auntyspan, my dad is on this and it has made an enormous difference with very few side effects. He has Lewy body dementia though, so not quite the same.
