Cysts on ovaries

Following a car accident earlier in year a CT scan showed cysts on ovaries. Dr in A&E did not say anything else about them other than they were there (busy dealing with injuries from accident).

Has anyone else had these? Do I need to get them checked out? Would appreciate any advice.

I have pcos, luckily I suffer from loads of the symptoms. I used to have very infrequent periods, going months without one and then bleeding for several weeks. Since having my coil I am now regular.

A family member also has pcos but has a lot of symptoms. Weight gain, excessive hair, Irregular periods and a lot of bloating.

Everyone is different but it's apparently fairly common.
