Enema

I have to have an examination on Thursday at 3pm. They have sent me an enema kit to use at home. Trouble is, I have to go to work all day so can I do this really early in the morning and will my bowels stay clear for 8 hours?

Are you able to leave work early and do it an hour before in thhe hospital?

I wonder if I can ring the hospital and ask them?! Thank you, I hadn't thought that may be I could do it there.

Is it something you drink or literally an enema? Have you been instructed to fast as well?

To be honest, I don’t think going to work is particularly wise either way. These medicines are pretty hardcore and it takes a surprising number of toilet trips to fully clear the bowel.

The hospital have been great, they have rearranged my appointment so that I can do it on a day off.
