I was in my opticians on Saturday where he discovered i had a swollen optic nerve, of i go to rvi eye emergency department. All sorts of test done etc and fair to say i was absolutely terrified. The doctor called her consultant to wether i should get a ct scan then and there or this week. I got home and got scan on Tuesday. I got scan done in neuro radiology. I phoned yesterday and the report was getting wrote up. I have phoned today and the lady said scan report has been done and sent back to optomolgy. The consultant would like to see me in two weeks. I asked if he could phone me as im beside myself with worry. I'm hoping that if there was something serious (brain tumour) they wouldn't leave me for two weeks would they?
