Heavy nosebleeds

Anyone suffered?

I have a cold and cough. Twice a day I have very heavy bleeding from my nose it is like a tap and it is very frightening. It does stop eventually. I have GP appt Monday.

I had very heavy nosebleeds for many years (and always bad when had a cold.)
For some reason I seem to have them much less often now (late 40’s.)
Might be worth asking Dr for blood test to check for anaemia as you might need an iron supplement.
Ps I never did find out the cause of mine.
