Wainted 7 weeks for a hospital apointment, now its here the problem seems to be almost gone...

The gp made me an appointment for test's for carnel tunnel syndrome(sp) which has taken 7 weeks for letter to arrive, my appointments not for another 3 weeks but my wrist seems to be alot better than it was, should i still go for the tests?
