Good evening MN readers,
I have had an issue with my throat for many years. I Get swelling which seems to travel all the way upto my ear (mostly the left ear). It makes swallowing food unbearable at times.
When I was a teenager I suffered with tonsillitis many times and on each occurrence I was given antibiotics.
However in more recent years the issue with my tonsils has lessened but in regard to my more recent bouts of illness the doctor has put my issues down to possible viral infections and recommend taking Strefen lozenges and using diffilam Throat spray to numb the area in my throat. This doesn’t stop the pain though, and the doctor insists they can’t give me anything for that.in fact the spray and lozenges are useless. Can anyone suggest any home remedies or
Any advise on dealing with this? I just feel like crap and it’s happening every few weeks.
