Can adults get the flu vaccine via nasal spray? Is there any way to have it done this way?

Any reason you want it rather than the jab

The nasal spray costs the NHS about £18 a shot, compared to £5.25 for the injection. It is offered to children but I can't see any reason to pay the extra to give the nasal spray to an adult. Also, the nasal spray vaccine is in short supply at present, so I don't think many pharmacies will be able to offer it privately.

The nasal spray is a lot less effective in adults so no they won't give it.
