Anyone with any experience of concussion? Dh had a housebrick fall on his head from 6 foot above him on the 1st of this month. I took him to a&e at the time and was given the all clear. Then a few days later he spent the day doing some work in our bathroom and it exhausted him and left him with a crippling headache. Went to GPS and they said it was post concussion and prescribed amitriptyline (which he couldn't take as they gave him an awful upset stomach) and to have plenty of rest. He's been off work sick with it and I've taken over everything in the house so he's got no choice but to rest. He had tunnel vision on Sunday so we went back to a&e (as told to by 111) and he had a CT scan which was okay.
What I'm really really struggling with is the personality change! My lovely husband has turned cranky, irritable and argumentative- complete opposite of his normal character. He shouted at our 2 year old in the night because she was crying- I've never heard him shout.
Any experience of this?
