Worried about brain

I went for a routine eye test on Saturday and got sent straight to the RVi Eye department. I got told i have bumpy optic nerve and i need an mri scan to find out the cause. Does anyone know anything about this? Please help i am completely panicking and my stomach is in nots. I haven't ate since i found out

Please don’t worry. I have a tumour in my brain that affects my vision but it doesn’t affect my life too badly. I cannot drive or do sports but the rest of life just goes on.

I don't think that's very helpful when a quick goigke reveals that a bumpy optic nerve is normally a pretty minor condition of the optic nerve, nothing to do with the actual brain, and requires bo treatment or surgery

I just had a quick look for you...I'm not a doctor but in my search there was no mention of cancer. It's called Optic Drusen and can cause blurred vision as far as I can see. Try not to worry about it, just wait and see what the scan reveals. Hope all goes well x

Thank you for your replies. I am worrier anyways hence why i havnt googled it as i think google often tend to give u worst case scenarios. Im hoping i here this week about my scan. The lady did say with me being overweight sometimes this can cause the problem.
