To take the pill or not

I am due to have a period next month at the beginning of a much longed for holiday,I suffer from period pains quite badly.
My cycle is about 30/32 days. I have not been on the pill for years but have a supply for 3 months worth which I got from doctors earlier in the year , then I changed my mind about starting them!!.
Now if I start a pack this week when period is due it means that my next period would be earlier than usual and I wouldnt be on a period on holiday and my next one after that would be after I return. Would you bother to take the pill just so you dont come on on holiday as I wont bother taking any more after 2 packs.
My concerns are because I am 35 and I lost my mum 3 years ago to breast cancer, but surely taking it for 2 months wont affect my health/weight will it??
If you got this far thanks for reading!!!

It will make no difference to your health. You don't 'have' to have the pill free break at all....it is put in as having the period re-assures women that they are not PG. Many women who take drugs which affect the metabolism of the pill are told to take the pill back to back.

Thanks for replying
The thing is I will have to have the 7 day break as if I take 2 packs together I would have a period right at the end of holiday, we go away middle of july.
