Hi all I hope I'm in the right place! I have suffered indigestion In the past but nothing major have always been tolerant of dairy, normal foods and gluten all my life. Then a week ago I went out for a meal drank way to much and vomited horribly the next 2 days. I had the usual hangover symptoms but now a week later I'm massively constipated, and painfully bloated gassy and no appetite. I have been tryin to eat normal and been eating bread these last few Days, should I cut that out?
I had 1 senna laxative last night and this morning it worked a lot 😷 Sorry! But since then I've had 2 bits of white toast and butter and I'm
Bloated again ! Like I'm pregnant! Is this just a case of sensitive stomach still healing after a week or Maybe an intolerance? I've not eaten a lot and tryin to drink as water but still had dairy etc doctor has given me lanzaprasole to help
Anyone could help I would grateful!

That sounds so uncomfortable. I use shitter tea! It was recommended by someone on here as a slimming aid, but it's got senna in it. I use it for bad IBS bouts.

I think white bread white rice etc can make a lot of people constipated and/or bloated. Doctor has prescribed me cosmocol which is very good for relieving constipation. As are suppositories!

Milk of Magnesia works every time, old methods sometimes work better than the newer stuff.

If you vomited a lot, you've messed up the bacteria in your gut. Best way to fix that is fermented foods like sauerkraut, kimchi, kefir etc. Live yoghurt helps some people but not all - worth a try. Other than that, foods that settle the stomach are mint, ginger, liquorice, aniseed and fennel (tea). Hope you feel better soon!
