I noticed yesterday nappies were abit drier than narmal. So kept giving him drinks,he's 23mths.He has slept all night and his nappy was almost dry.Just got back from school run and he started to cry.I picked him up but he wouldn't put his legs around me,he was trying to cross his legs.(i think).Anyway checked his happy after he stopped crying, because he had a sore bum yesterday. His bum is not sore now but nappy was soaked.Any advice please.

It's hard to say tbh. Are there any other symptoms - slight fever, not eating, tummy pain etc?

Is he able to tell you anything

Sorry haven't got any real advice but wanted to bump this for you.

(neither of mine have had a UTI, so far, but I have and it was most uncomfortable)

You have my sympathies. You need to get a clean sample from him. Thats what i'm trying with my dd (she has kidney reflux) would think it's easier to get a sample from a boy thats not contaminated. Take it to your gp and they'll send it off to be checked. tui's can make them very poorly and miserable so it's important to get it checked if thats what you think it is. How old is he?

sorry, 23mths, my dd is 26 mths
