Bad smelling DP

My DP is sweating profusely at night - even with the window open to the point I'm freezing.
It's at the point where I'm not sleeping properly because I have to sleep on the edge of the bed facing the other way to avoid the big damp-wet patches and to try not to smell this sour smell of the sweat.
Has anyone experienced this/is there any way to help it?

He needs to see his gp.

Is he bathing properly? What kind of sheets do you use? Are they pure cotton or synthetic material? Does your partner drink a lot of alcohol? Is he overweight?

Is it only at night he is having these drenching sweats? He should see his GP if it is as night sweats need investigation.

Are there any other symptoms? Is he thirsty or tired? Does his breath smell funny?

It sounds like a visit to the gp is in order.
