I have a previous post about petichiae on here.
The third doctor I've seen (finally my family doctor) took one look and proclaimed the weird rash to definitely NOT be petichiae. She requested a whole stack of blood tests to check liver function and for hepatitis.
It came back showing antigens for Hep B (I think that's what she explained-it was on the phone and I couldn't hear very well and my brain was off at 'Heoatitis') which she said Has a very high probability of me being positive for it.
I'm properly scared.
And confused. I would have been tested twice by the NHS when pregnant (children are 6 & 8). I've been married for over 20 years (and monogamous), never a drug user, and 2 partners prior to my husband.
Further testing of the sample has been requested. But it's not looking good is it? I just want to sob but I'm at work.
Fuck.
