Fluctuations in BP.

When registering with a new Dr on Monday, the Practice nurse took my BP. It was 168/94.

She said it was high and to go back In 2 weeks to have it redone.

I mentioned we had a BP monitor at home and she's asked me to take a reading both morning and night.

Monday nights was 157/88
Tues Am was 146/80 PM was 146/78
Wed AM was 144/76 PM was 148/77
Thurs AM was 137/70

These readings are obviously lower but I'm concerned that she won't believe me!

Would it be to bizarre to actually film me taking a reading to show her?

Am I over thinking this 🤪

Definitely overthinking it!

You're worrying needlessly. What the nurse will do is to have a look at those readings and then work out an average.

Sure you'll be fine.

Thank you!
I guess anyone could say they had a monitor and come back with some low readings!
I think I need to get a job/life! X

None of those readings are low.

When taking you should take 3 readings with a 5 min period or so and record the lowest one.
