'cures' for feeling sick / nauseous

I've been feeling queasy / sick all morning at work and was sick in the early morning. Its definitely not anything contagious, but none of my usual 'cures' are working (basically anything with ginger!). Peppermint tea always makes me feel worse, but are there any other home cures which I don't know about? All suggestions welcone, no matter how unusual!!

How do you know it's not contagious OP?

I suffer with nausea a lot. There's a pressure point on your wrist you can google and try. It does seem to help a bit.

Other than that maybe have a cold wash, get some fresh air or have something simple to eat. Or go home and go to sleep.

I take Buccastem (available OTC) when nausea is really bad. It's a tiny pill you dissolve on your gum. Made for nausea associated with migraines and only supposed to be used occasionally.

Hm, I can't know that it's not contagious of course, but I am fairly sure that it is not!

Thank you for your suggestions. The going home to sleep one sounds best! I'll give the cold water and fresh air one a try though.

I find that something sweet helps .

There's a nausea virus going around. I had it last week and then DH got it. I can only describe it like morning sickness type feeling. Was grim. Sleep helped.

Urgh, I hope I haven't been breathing germs over everyone all day. I did manage to make it through the day at work, but had to get off the tube three times on the way home because I thought I was about to throw up - horrible!

It's a hard bug to spot so don't feel bad. I have nausea on and off with something else so just thought it was that initially. Hope your feeling better.
