Sterilazation, dh or I?

We have two dc, and we both know that we do not want any more. However, my dootor stated it is unlikely that a hospital would allow it. My dh is 27, and I am 25.

The doctors stated it is often "easier" for a man, and my dh has stated he wants to have it over me iykwim.

I'm currently got the implant, so not in a big rush, but not sure which osne of us should have the operation.

How did you decide?

my doctor suggested to me that I get sterilised at 25! I had gone to get more pills and he asked if I wanted more children to which I replied 'no'. He said I shouldn't be on the pill for longer than 5 yrs so should have the op

that is really bad, im only 21 an have been on pill an implant for longer than 5years glad your told him no it would have been a different choice of words from me! go to a family planning clinic instead!

Different Dr's obviously have different attitudes. A friend of mine had two lively boys with her DH. She had an older boy from a previous relationship, as did her DH. Yet the GP refused to sterilise, as she was 27.
