I've been having awful problems with my stomach for a few months and finally went got an appt the doctor. Told him my symptoms of burning stomach ache, bloating, gas and spasms etc and one of the things he's testing for is h. Pylori. Has anyone else had spasms in your guts with that? Feels like I'm walking around with a bag of snakes in there. Even done two pregnancy tests I'm so paranoid about the spasms! It's really playing with my mind 😔

At least 50% of the world's population is infected with Helicobacter pylori. Eighty-five percent of these never develop symptoms but those who do may experience the symptoms you describe, as well as being at risk of peptic ulcer disease (10-20% lifetime risk) and gastric cancer (1% risk) so it's worth testing for if you have these kinds of symptoms.

If it comes up positive it’s easily fixed with some antibiotics and reflux tablets Smile

I've had it
Tablets clear it
Ask for endoscopy if not
