Ear Infection, how can I get rid?

Doctor won't prescribe antibiotics as this is my 3rd ear infection this year and I've had antibiotics for 10 different things.

So how can I get rid?

I can't sleep with the pain which paracetamol isn't touching so really tired. It's also really itchy.

I'm also in sole charge of a 3 year old (I'm an LP) so need to be quick relief.

There are some ideas here. Can you take ibuprofen?

No can't have ibuprofen unfortunately

Have you tried Ear Calm spray? Should certainly help with the itching and available OTC.

Hot water bottle has soothed my ear, hopefully it'll help clear the infection too

You need antibiotics and you need investigations as to why you are getting ill so often
