Blush Quite embarrassed to be posting this but got a question about bowel movements. I've studied the Bristol Stool Chart - which is also embarrassing to admit - but if I can't ask here I don't know where I can ask. Anyway for the past month I've gone from usually normal type 4 to kind of type 5, bits but not always small bits iykwim. I've had no pain, blood, weight loss or any other symptoms. I'm an anxious type and the past month has been stressful with one thing and another so I've been preoccupied and on edge. I've got other health issues going on which I've been worried about but they are totally unrelated to this.

Obviously I should go to doc as it's worrying me but am I over reacting? I'm scared of being sent for further tests.

And I apologise for tmi.

Omg what's going on? There have been a few threads about exactly the same thing lately. I posted on one by Peggyandkitty a few days ago. Take a look.

I'm not medically trained, but with no other symptoms, plus stress added to the equation, it doesn't seem serious to me.

Do you suffer from health anxiety? I suggest you go and see your gp if you are really worried and be reassured that they wont refer for tests if they think they are not necessary.

Thank you. I shall have a look at the other post.
Yes I do suffer from anxiety, sometimes health related but I haven't had a flare up like this for a long time.
I'm desperately trawling the internet looking for reassurance but its not working and I need to stop. Its hard to talk about this as its embarrassing and I don't want to bother friends/family.

It’s no good consulting with Dr Google. All you will focus on is the bad stuff and it really doesn’t help. I’m guilty of that.
