How much do boobs weigh? I am a 34F and was wondering how much of my weight (11st) is my boobs? Go on....make me feel thin! LOL

That is difficult to judge, but a friend of mine had a reduction from a G to a B and they removed just under one kilo from each breast, I think they removed the max they were allowed or something.

SlightlyMadStilton · 11/06/2007 21:31

hmmmm....

wacky suggestion.

Fill bucket/big bowl of water to brim. Plunge breast in carefully, displacing water. Work out how much water was displaced by adding back measured volumes. If breast tissue was water it would weigh 100g for every 100ml displaced.

SErious answer - dunno!!!

TenaLady · 11/06/2007 21:33

SMS pmsl

Slubberdegullion · 11/06/2007 21:33

SMS you need to name change back to your original name to answer that question seriously.

GreebosWhiskers · 11/06/2007 21:35

Why don't you weigh yourself, step off, step back on & get dh to support them then subtract one weight from the other? My bruv did this with SIL & she 'lost' over a stone

I'm a 36B so know that my boobs don't add much to my weight

Go to your local post office....flop 'em out on the counter scales and say how much to send these puppies first class then and see what they say

GreebosWhiskers · 11/06/2007 21:37

lol - was just gonna add 'cross post' LL

Haribosmum · 11/06/2007 21:37

LOL I can just imagine plunging my boobs into a bucket. DH already thinks I'm bonkers so that'll just confirm it to him! The weighing option seems ok though. Not that DH needs an excuse to cop a feel. I'll let you know how I get on!

I'll tell you what - that might sound daft but it will be a damn sight more accurate than getting dp to caress you whilst on the scales. Very didgy ground scientifically speaking you know.

Slubberdegullion · 11/06/2007 21:43

Much better SMS, you come across much better, much more expert like with that name.

I was dull before. With my new name I have found new freedom (mostly with regard to discussing sponge).

Haribosmum · 11/06/2007 21:43

I might try all these suggestions (apart from the Post Office one LOL) and go with the result that gives me the best answer!

This thread is what's great about MN... you can find the answer to anything!

SlightlyMadScientist · 11/06/2007 21:45

You must feed back - and I wouldn't make the water too cold or you may get frostbite in your nips!!!

Haribosmum · 11/06/2007 21:45

Yeah I know. I've been wanting to ask this for weeks but didn't want to come over a nutter! Guess I'm a nutter now!
