Why am I so tired?

I work part time in a low stress job. I exercise, get fresh air, at least 8 hours sleep, drink lots of water, eat quite healthily etc. I don’t have a stressful life or worries.

I had some blood tests last year, my free T4 was slightly raised but GP said it was fine. All other tests were fine.

At the moment I come home from work and basically get into bed - at 4pm! That isn’t normal right?

Thyroid testing is complex and criminally undiagnosed in this country due to lack of testing (free T4 doesn't mean a lot) and ranges that are too vast.

What were your full results if you have them (you're entitled to copies), including lab ranges? TSH should have been tested as well.

No it's not normal unless you're stressed, burnt out, ill or depressed.

I'd get more bloods done, ask that they do the usual ones and re-test your thyroid as well as vitamin D, B12, folate and ferritin.
