Hi, I have had checks for the past 10 years on IOP, usually on high side of normal (which it is currently) and have never been given any treatment, just twice yearly or yearly checks.

I am told everything is fine with my visual field and optic nerve checks but the cons regularly 'gently' recommends the laser treatment. I just wonder if anyone who has been through this can advise or any ophthalmic people out there can advise as I have been pondering on whether to have the treatment for quite a few years.
Am wondering how successful it is and how much it prevents a sudden angle closure happening. The cons has put the fear of god in me about this happening!
