I have a similar problem. I clear it with a tiny bit of hydrocortisone. Don't know if I am now just allergic to eye shadow. Using virgin vie.

oh cod
I have had this a lot
It is down to powder eyeshadows, the powder falls down onto bit under my eye and it gets sore. I really have isolated it to this.

If I only use cream eyeshadow it is fine

You've worn down resistance. They can't take the slap any longer. (unless you've recently changed make up of course).

CountessDracula · 11/06/2007 12:33

dunno
I suddenly started getting it too

maybe skin becomes thinner and more sensitive the more of an old bag you become

ProjectIcarus · 11/06/2007 12:40

Cod I had this.

My doc prescribed mild hydrocortisone and an emoillent. You shouldn't use anything else on it until the skin is unbroken. Once you have had a reaction your skin remains sensitive for ages. If you remain break out free for 6 months you can go back to using any products pretty much.

Oh and mine was caused by washing powder. So don't just look at what is going on your skin look at anything you are touching or that could be touching your skin.

Oh and I found mineral make up just fine

try here

ooh
hwill try

now what colour should I go for? I have been so limited for so long

I have dark hair, pale skin, blue eyes

ProjectIcarus · 11/06/2007 13:41

you can get samples for much cheapness.

I am nude foundation, and I have in the buff concealor and peep o for dark shadows.

nor tried eyeshadow yet I am crap at it.

cod my reaction was so severe my eyes swelled up and my lids cracked right across. It was horrid horrid horrid.

No i occasionally get a small patch and a wee bit of hyrdocortisone clears it right up within days.

ProjectIcarus · 12/06/2007 15:32

Cod, was just thinking. Has this started since your eyeshadow epiphany?

Cos if so CD might well be right.
